If you are looking for a rural, secluded, feel then Fort Fisher is the place for you. Disclaimer: Fort Fisher may still be busy during peak season, especially weekends. Additionally, there are no bars or restaurants within walking distance (however, there are many options within a short drive). This makes Fort Fisher a great place for a beach picnic, relaxing, swimming, surfing or looking for shells. All in all, it is a lovely and affordable option to make memories outdoors and notable destination for the Costal Carolina- Wilmington area.
